What are you looking for?

Hello, I’m Lisbeth

Thank you for visiting my site! Here’s a little about my journey to becoming a designer.

I have been drawing and colouring from as far back as I can remember. My family embraced and supported my enthusiasm for my drawing from the start. I began telling stories while crawling over large rolls of paper laid across the floor, drawing what I believed to be the most wonderful universes.

After graduating in graphic design, I worked for a company that specialised in exhibitions, spending many hours building and profiling trade fair stands. This was followed by some years at Norsk Hydro drawing studio, now known as Equinor, and later as a graphic designer and illustrator in a publishing house.

The subsequent 17 years were spent running my own limited liability company, which served both private and public sector clients. These included publishing houses, Government ministries, KS, Tine, Rikshospitalet, amongst many others. I have  been working for Porsgrund  Porselænsfabrik and Hadeland Glassverk since 2012.

A vast canvas of projects bringing variety and new challenges have provided me with a wealth of  experience and knowledge.

In the meanwhile, I have continued drawing professionally. Illustrations for books, covers, posters, products, animations, and patterns; painting on paper, canvas and other media with acrylic, oil, mixed media, and more; have filled up much of my spare time.

I’m passionate about design and illustration; the story-teller in me loves the warp and woof design and editorial content. I have enormous respect for good artistry and craftsmanship; the techniques and craft deployed in a painting or picture interest me, besides the subject itself.

An adult at work, or a child at play… I love the journey that life has taken me upon. Moving emotions are made of passion, intelligence, and personal commitment. I hope my work brings some of these aspects to light.

Lisbeth has illustrated our most beautiful Christmas decoration in porcelain, which have been our greatest success in regard to the Yearly Christmas decoration concept. Her unique and nostalgic motifs are sought-after collectors' items, which we get asked about daily in season. Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik loves Lisbeth's magical and imaginative painting style

I had the pleasure of being Lisbeth's colleague and manager when I had the role of manager of product development and design at Hadeland Glassverk. Lisbeth has a unique design expertise that extends across a number of disciplines. This includes, among other things, strong digital expertise, identity design, graphic production, product design and illustration. With solid experience, Lisbeth always had an overview of the issues and ensured a holistic, strategic common thread through all deliveries. I would describe Lisbeth as incredibly service-minded and solution-oriented, with a genuine desire to make the best of every task. In addition to extensive professional expertise, Lisbeth has a warm, considerate and inclusive demeanor - something that had a very positive impact on the working environment.
